Shetland Accordion and Fiddle Festival

The highlight of this lively festival of concerts and dances, that take place throughout the islands, is the Grand Dance, where up to a dozen bands play virtually non-stop accordion and fiddle music.

Up Helly Aa

Traditional Viking fire festival featuring a torch-lit procession and culminating in the burning of a replic galley. Entertainment througout the night in locations around the village.
