400 hectares of countryside set aside for leisure and recreation, it's a great place for a family day out with plenty to do.
You may choose a quiet walk through the woods, around the loch, or along the River Lugton in the gardens looking out for a variety of trees, flowers, birds or insect life as you go. Bring along a picnic and relax on the castle lawn or near the Visitor Centre whilst the children enjoy the play areas. Dogs are welcome too, as long as they are kept under control.
Coarse angling is available at Eglinton Loch and there is a bridleway system for horse riders. Explore by cycle on a good network of paths within the park.
