The seal colony in Brough Bay and puffins are just two attractions to Dunnet Head. The Castle of Mey and Mary Ann's Cottage are both nearby. The remains of a WWll radar station on Burifa Hill, 100m cliffs with superb views to Orkney across the Pentland Firth, three miles of golden beach, Dunnet forest, a S.S.S. I (Site of Special Scientific Interest) and stunning scenery are just a few more reason for visiting this magnificent location and learning about the environment, the history and the culture of the people.
An e-mail station, tea and cakes and basic information about Orkney are also available. Come and enjoy.
